Glass Bottom Studios is a home-based, high-quality music recording, and music teaching studio, serving the Monmouth & Ocean County area in central New Jersey since the early 1990s.
Douglas Clark, crossover classical (tenor) and pop singer, pianist, songwriter/composer/arranger, recording/mastering engineer, producer, and part-time music teacher, is the sole-proprietor.  
The Glass Bottom Studios primary mission is to produce high quality audio (and Video) recordings, using state-of-the-art professional equipment, at affordable prices.  Part of that mission is to collaborate and engage with highly talented musicians, to produce world class musical works and recordings.  Doug loves, and takes pride in, every recording project!   
Glass Bottom Studios' secondary mission is to educate children and adults, to appreciate, understand, and perform music at the highest levels possible.  Doug's love of music across genres, his understanding of its greater purpose, and his joy and patience in sharing and improving music skills for all ages, at any level, is unique.

Clients have included: The Rutgers University Queen’s Chorale, The Monmouth Conservatory of Music, The New Jersey Chamber Singers, Kinnara, The Red Bank Chamber Music Society, Vladislav Kovalsky, and area musicians.
Music Teaching Studio Services
Douglas Clark, is also a private music teacher for children and adults, having developed and taught the first organized Music Theory, Ear Training, and Sight-Reading skills laboratory, taught introductory piano, and administered International ABRSM Music Theory Exams at The Monmouth Conservatory of Music, in Red Bank, NJ.  Current specialties include:
- Music Theory & Ear Training, for Singers and Instrumentalists to improve sight-reading & improvisation skills
- ABRSM or AP Music Theory Exam Prep

- Beginning Piano
- Vocal Coaching

Douglas Clark is one of the recipients of the 
2012 President’s Volunteer Service Award presented by the Corporation for National and Community Service, f
or his volunteer work on the Boards of local music performing and education organizations in Monmouth County.
